Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly) is a rap musician who is known for his unique style. Baker was originally born in Houston Texas, U.S. on April 22nd 1990 to parents who were of English Scottish German descent. His parents were missionaries. During his childhood, he traveled extensively with them. James Colson Baker suffered from depression, and was unemployed as Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker's father moved with Baker to Denver and the family lived at the uncle of his father. Baker was bullied by fellow children because of his lack of wealth. His first exposure to hip-hop was as he began sixth the sixth grade. Colson Baker popularly known as Machine Gun Kelly was born on 22 April 1990 in Texas the U.S. The music he creates blends modern hip-hop, alternative and rock. Baker was the author of four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010, before signing to Bad Boy Records. After delivering lyrics faster than bullet trains and a soaring voice, the Cleveland artist saw an explosive rise to fame in 2011. His career changed from self-released tapes to being signed to labels. From there his career skyrocketed and each album charting among the top 10.
