A Pennsylvania resident, Kolber received her graduate education in The University of Miami. Kolber began her career at CBS Sports New York City in the role of video coordinator. She was awarded an award for a local Sports Emmy during her tenure with WTVJ-TV in Miami. Also, she worked for WPLG-TV Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach in Florida. She was hired by ESPN in 1993 and was one of the anchors of ESPN2 which was launched. After three years of being with ESPN2, she resigned from ESPN2 to join Fox Sports. She then returned to ESPN, where she currently hosts "Monday Night Countdown.'
