The time she spent in Italy allowed her to comprehend and appreciate the Italian tradition and philosophy, which has had an impression on her culinary perspective. Burrell has served on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which helps brighten the lives of children facing difficulties. She also serves as an Juvenile diabetes research foundation Celebrity Ambassador, where she promotes the awareness of juvenile diabetes. Burrell speaks on her culinary passion and shares her expertise in the culinary world, as she regularly goes on trips across the USA in various roles such as speaker and mentor. Anne declared that she felt fortunate to be able to be able to share her passion for cooking with the people around her.
